Not Again!

Anne Parks has received yet another injury to her precious face. First her tooth, then her eye, now her forehead! In the picture it looks like a lipstick mark, but it's bite! Yes, a BITE! Another child at daycare bit her right in the middle of her forehead. Her teacher says that she didn't cry until they ran over and she realized something bad had happened. It doesn't seem to bother her, as you can see. In the picture, she's practicing saying "cheese". We even got her to look at the camera! Yay, Anne Parks!

"Big-Girl" Blue Jeans

Anne Parks got some blue jeans for Christmas, and she thought she was hot stuff on the first day she got to wear them.

Gattitown

A new pizza place just opened near us called Gattitown, and we went to check it out. It's like Chuck E. Cheese only bigger and better! Anne Parks had a great time playing the games with Uncle Drew.

On our way to Gattitown

She looked so small next to the games and other kids, but she thought she was big and wanted to try everything.

Ringing in the New Year with a Cowbell

For the New Year's holidays this year, Jason and I spent some time in Memphis with friends.

Jason, Jared, Susan, and I braved the cold at the Liberty Bowl to cheer our Dawgs to victory!

The next day, we toured the Gibson Guitar Factory.

We got to wear these super-cool safety glasses while inside.

Oh, What Fun It Is...

This year, Anne Parks had so much fun with Christmas, and so did we!

THE SQUARE IN CANTON

She's running so fast that it's hard to tell which direction she's going!

Anne Parks was happy to see Santa Claus, but was glad that her daddy was nearby. Santa gave her a candy cane and she kept saying "thank you" on our way to the car, long after we'd left him.

CHRISTMAS AT GRANDMA AND PAPA'S Grandma and Papa let Anne Parks open one present early.
She quickly became an unwrapping pro.

One of the presents from Grandma and Papa was this awesome teepee!

Uncle Aaron and Cousin Maggie

CHRISTMAS MORNING WITH GRANDPA, TIZZIE, AND UNCLE DREW Santa brought Anne Parks an Elefun game.
As you can see, she loved it!
She also got a magnadoodle - her favorite toy so far!
Here, she's teaching Uncle Drew how to use it.
The blocks and the fabulous hula get-up were more gifts from Santa.
CHRISTMAS NIGHT AT MIMI & PAW PAW'S

Anne Parks also got some jeans (with pockets-her favorite part) that actually fit.
What a big girl!

A Super-Cool Toga

We helped Uncle Drew make a toga for a senior party. We think he looked just "super"! He won the prize for "Most Creative Toga"!
