Who Dat?

Don't you just love this list that I spotted the last time I visited the Buzzin' Bee class?

Patriotic Bees

The Buzzin' Bee have been very busy. Shortly after their super-fun Valentine's Party, they celebrated Patriotic Day with silly hats and a parade. Each child was supposed to make a silly hat to wear, but Anne Parks had other plans. She told me she did not want to make a silly hat because she didn't "like to wear silly hats - just cute headbands." So, we made the red and blue one you see here. In these pictures, the bow is kind of flipped up, so I guess it was sort of silly after all!

Bee My Valentine

The Buzzin' Bees celebrated Valentine's Day with a party. I was one of the moms who helped, so I got to go. The kids were so cute!

Here, they're saying the blessing.

Anne Parks and her friend, Fisher.

A group picture was nearly impossible. These are the best that I could get.

Snow Day

The snow was so much fun! It was really too cold for Nora and Anne Parks didn't like that the snow got her clothes wet, so our "playing" in the snow consisted of the girls and me watching Jason build a snowman from the porch.

Anne Parks just loved her "Mardi Gras Princess" snowman.

I don't think anyone enjoyed the snow as much as Libby. She looked so pretty in the snow, too.

My mom and dad came by just in time to show us how to make snow ice cream.

Bath Time

Nora thoroughly enjoyed taking a bath in Grandma's sink. Don't you just love those rolls?

Cousin Maggie's Bouncin' Birthday

Cousin Maggie just turned 3! She had a super-fun, bouncin' birthday at Planet Gymnatics.

Anne Parks just loved it! She spent most of her time on the trampolines, but she found lots more to do, too.

Nora had fun, too.

She bounced...

played with her friend, Stella...

and hung out with Grandma...

and Aunt Kay.

After the kids played for a while, we attempted to get a group picture, but it's almost impossible to get one kid to look at the camera - much less a group this big. This is the best that we could do.

Happy Birthday Maggie!

TOT

Anne Parks takes a basketball-handling class after school call TOT (Teams of Tomorrow). They incorporate educational lessons, like colors, shapes and language (English, French and Spanish) with physical activity. We signed Anne Parks up because we love basketball, and she's shown an interest after watching Uncle Drew play. She absolutely loves and comes home showing us all kinds of new tricks.

Last week, the had a mini-performance, and we were so proud of little athlete. She's one of only three girls in the program, and, I know I'm her mom, but in my opinion, she was one of the best! She's definitely caught the performance bug. As soon as it was over, she said, "Can I do my dance recital now."

I'm hoping I can get the video up soon, but here are some pictures.
