A Happy Baby

Baby Nora is just so sweet! She's definitely a lot more needy than Anne Parks was. If she's awake, she wants to be held, and if she's asleep, and I put her down, she doesn't stay asleep for long. After many sleepless nights, I read "The Happiest Baby on the Block" by Dr. Harvey Karp. It worked miracles. (Click here or here to watch Dr. Karp in action.)
Dr. Karp teaches the "5 S's". They are swaddling, side/stomach, swinging, shhhh, and sucking. The idea is to try to replicate the womb's environment. As you can see, Nora loves it!

This is what Nora looks like at night sleeping (finally) in her swing. At the bottom left, you can see the "shhhh" made by the sound machine.
