Nora loved sliding, too.

Jessi and Creighton, on vacation from NY, joined us to celebrate!

Giant Birthday Cupcakes (The "how to" can be found on my friend Darby's blog by clicking here.)

On the Menu: cheese puffs, Critter Crunch, and punch. (Recipe for Critter Crunch at the botton of this post.)

Since it was her first birthday, Nora got to play with her cake.

Grandpa may have a future at the mall around Christmastime.

Papa and his girls

The party's over, and here's what Smith thinks about that!
Add the following amount of each for every 2 cups of dry ingredients:
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
Choose any combination of the following using 1 cup of each:
animal crackers
teddy grahams
crispix
cheerios
pretzels
chex
Mix in a bowl, then spread onto a cookie sheet.
Bake in a 250 degree oven for 20 minutes. Stiring occasionally.
After removing from the oven, you may add raisins or M&Ms.
Yummy!
