Disney: Day 1

The day after Christmas, we left Nora at the cabin with my parents, went home for a couple of hours to swap out our suitcases, then traveled to Hattiesburg on the first leg of our journey to Disney World. We left Hattiesburg at 4:30 the next morning. The 12-hour trip wasn't too bad, but that may be because the kids rode with Grandma and Papa.

When we finally arrived, Anne Parks and Maggie were very excited.

The excitement left Anne Parks' face when she saw that we were at a hotel. She said, "Is this Disney World?" I replied, "It is. We're here!" Then she said, very timidly, "Is it fun?" The poor thing - all of the anticipation of driving all day and this was not what she was expecting!

This was closet in our hotel room. Anne Parks was sure to pack all of her ball gowns.

Once we were settled in our rooms, we went to Downtown Disney for dinner at Planet Hollywood. Finally, Anne Parks realized that this place would be fun.

At Planet Hollywood, there was a giant screen playing music videos. The girls when nuts when Taylor Swift came on.
Anne Parks ordered (and loved) the spaghetti.
